Today we head to the Tohoku region of Japan to visit the prefecture of Fukushima. The capital also goes by the same name.

The start of week 6 sees us back in the Kansai region of Japan to visit Mie, which faces the Pacific Ocean. Its capital is Tsu.

The last day of week 5 has us cross the border to visit Kagoshima’s neighbour: Kumamoto. Kumamoto is also found on the island of Kyushu.

Day 24 takes us to Kagoshima which is located on both the island of Kyushu and the northern part of the Ryukyu Islands.

Day 23 takes us to the southernmost prefecture of Japan: Okinawa. The capital is Naha and Okinawa is part of the Kyushu region of Japan.

Day 22 has us back in the well-known Kansai region of Japan to visit the landlocked prefecture of Shiga.

The first day of week five has us visiting Yamaguchi, which is part of the Chugoku region and located in the westernmost part of Honshu.

We head north to the Tohoku region of Japan to visit Yamagata, which is in the southwestern corner of the region and faces the Sea of Japan.

We’re back in the southern island of Kyushu to visit Miyazaki, which is on the island’s south-east coast.

The start of the third week has us back down in the Chubu region of Honshu island in Toyama. Toyama prefecture is along the Sea of Japan

The fourth day of our quiz transports us to Kochi’s neighbour: Tokushima. Tokushima is the easternmost prefecture of Shikoku and its capita
